What does a Therapeutic Riding Class Look Like?

A certified NARHA instructor teaches up to 5 riders per a class. Below are the steps:

1. Mounting riders on horse safely!

2. Riders partipate in stretching.

3. Riders will then work on their riding abilities by turning and changing directions.

4. Riders will participate in riding activities, ride on our new sensory trail (starting in Spring 2010), metroparks, or at camp cheerful.

5. Riders will then work on their trotting skills.

6. Lastly, there is a 5 minute cool down.
